Celebrate the season synonymous with chromatic change, outerwear, and the Louisiana Purchase by seeing a musical that pays homage to all three. Today’s Groupon gets you a ticket to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the 5th Avenue Theatre for $32 (normally $71).
Watch budding thespian, American Idol finalist, and riding-mower enthusiast Anthony Fedorov bring Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rices’s rainbowic romp to life. Choose from any one of the following shows (select your show when presenting your Groupon at will call):
- Saturday, October 10, at 2 p.m.
- Saturday, October 10, at 8 p.m.
- Sunday, October 11, at 1:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 13, at 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 14, at 7:30 p.m.
Joseph is a sassy spin on the Old Testament tale of sibling rivalry and brotherly betrayal that’s been delighting audiences for more than 35 years, the last 30 of which have exclusively starred American Idol contestants. The historic 5th Avenue Theatre (a former host to vaudeville shows) provides the perfect setting to watch all the mini-dramas unfold. Your seats will be in the orchestra or grand tier level.
Use Joseph’s lavish costumes as inspiration for your Halloween costume, expand your musical tastes with the play’s eclectic soundtrack, or experience a cleaner alternative to pumpkin carving with today’s Groupon.
