Past the emerald palm trees and thick hedges surrounding The Angler's Boutique Resort lies 660 at The Angler's, a tucked-away eatery brimming with locally sourced seafood, meats, and pastas dashed with Mediterranean zest. Chef Carlos Torres flavors his fare with virgin olive oils, aged balsamic vinegar, and fresh herbs. During breakfast and lunch, servers deliver oven-fresh croissants, Florida salads, and spicy tomato-flatbread sandwiches to diners in the restaurant or to vacationers relaxing poolside wearing complimentary pairs of deep-fried floaties. At dusk, the staff floats through the dining area with a parade of risottos, braised short ribs, and fresh-avocado bruschetta, then outdoors to two terraces lined with clusters of tables illuminated by flickering candles.
