Today's Groupon satisfies your constant, painful chicken-and-potato cravings with $35 worth of American cuisine at Seven 30 South for $15. The Denver bar and grill has a rec-room, neighborhoody feel, with brick walls adorned with colorful artwork, cozy booths, and wood paneling.

Start off dinner with an order of the crispy calamari strips served with a trifecta of dipping sauces: roast garlic aioli, marinara, and sweet chili ($9.50). For a main course, you’ll find entree salads ($8.95–$12.95) and pastas ($8.95–$13.95), plus steaks, specialties, and seafood selections. Seven 30 South also serves lunch, a weekend brunch, and a gluten-free menu. Pair any dish with selections from the restaurant’s wine list, such as a cherry-kissed merlot from Covey Run ($7 glass, $21 bottle) or classic Dr. Loosen Riesling ($8 glass, $24 bottle).

Seven 30 South’s open seven days a week, 30 hours a day, and south of Canada. Grab lunch Monday–Friday from 11 a.m.–4 p.m., and dinner Monday–Thursday from 3 p.m.–9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m.–10 p.m., and Sunday from 3 p.m.–9 p.m. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

  • Absolutely outstanding food. Great variety on the menu and friendly service. Atmosphere is classy, fun and romantic. Parking can be tricky, but any wait is worth it. – FrankCS, Insider Pages
  • I loved the exposed brick and the dark wood. The bread and pesto dip was absolutely divine, as was the chicken burrito I ordered. – cioccoloco, Insider Pages

The Difference Between a Really Good Burrito and a Heavenly Burrito

A reviewer on Insider Pages says her chicken burrito was “absolutely divine.” But how can you tell the difference between a really good burrito and one that is truly heaven-sent? Here’s a guide:

Really Good Burrito: Arrives hot and fresh minutes after ordering it.
Heaven Burrito: Has always existed and will always exist.

Really Good Burrito: Made to order and leaves you satisfied.
Heaven Burrito: Made the heaven and the Earth and never leaves you.

Really Good Burrito: Is really good.
Heaven Burrito: If the burrito is good merely because it calls itself good, then it is no longer a significant statement to say that the burrito is good. If good is independent of the burrito, then there must be a higher power than the burrito that deems it that way, and the burrito is not the ultimate good.

About 730 South

At 730 South, chefs prepare a diverse menu that travels from the New England coast to southern farms, from Italy to Mexico. You'll find fish tacos, yellowfin tuna salad with wasabi vinaigrette, and calamari strips served with a trio of dipping sauces. From there, the menu moves inland, with chefs creating chicken saltimbocca, a signature 730 burger—with A1 sauce, blue cheese, and a crispy tower of onion rings—and southwestern meatloaf topped with green chili and paired with chipotle mashed potatoes. Gluten-free menus and a full wine list are available.
