What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Most gym’s offer fitness only. Put struggle with weight loss. We address the 20% fitness and 80% nutritional needs to lose weight and keep it off. Our thinking is workout for free and use that money toward supplements, meal replacement shakes etc. to get the weight off and keep it off. Your entire family can benefit from this strategy.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I struggled with losing weight at the gym. You can’t out run a bad diet, period. I used to be concerned with the 3-4, one hour workouts per week. I still am but concentrate on the other 23 hours with the 80% nutritional needs. I was never taught about the importance of my daily nutritional needs. Most gyms, fitness studio’s offer no support with this critical ingredient.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping people fully understand the journey associated with being overweight, learning about nutrition, losing weight but more importantly, keeping it off. We are impacting a lot of people’s life’s and love the smile I get from my clients who have achieved their goals.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
Get fit in the gym, lose weight in the kitchen. Food is your foundation, and fitness is the accessory, “not the opposite. Every meal and snack needs to embrace the macro nutrient trifecta of proteins, carbs, and healthy fats to help reduce overall body fat. Best reaction? I finally get the name 80twentyfitness!!! 80% nutrition 20% fitness…WE ARE DIFFERENT!!
