9/11 Tribute Museum

The 9/11 Tribute Museum, founded by the nonprofit September 11th Families' Association, blends the informative and the emotionally honest in conveying the events and timeline of September 11, 2001, from a personal perspective. In the center's five galleries, videos, artifacts, pictures, and audio interviews with survivors create a moving portrait of the attack on September 11, 2001, and the bombing on February 26, 1993. Before looking ahead to lower Manhattan's plans for the future, the 9/11 Tribute Museum shares a personal remembrance of the victims, the unprecedented rescue-and-recovery operations, and the tremendous spirit of generosity and support that arose after the attack.

Customer Reviews

Very moving experience, even while they were preparing to move and construction was everywhere. My children, 15 and 9 obviously only know what they have seen on tv or what we've told them. It really helped them to understand and wrap their brains around what really happened that day. I highly recommend going to the Tribute Center.

Definitely a poignant part of our trip to NYC. The Tribute Center showed more of the memories of those who were in the area. Two very interesting videos as well.
