Went to the wrong museum. This one was tiny and the hired speakers don’t leave you alone and follow you around the entire time until you tell them to go away

Amazing museum… I learned so much while I was here. I really enjoyed the speaker who helped others when the plane hit.

The place is smaller than the memorial museum, but this museum is more intimate with speakers who were survivors or had family that were there on 9/11. I did not know about there being 2 museums a couple blocks away so I recommend seeing this one first :).

This place used be super nice. It seemed be super dirty & not taken care of as before. The bathrooms had pee down each stall smelled horrible. Some exhibits didn’t work / weren’t there anymore. No one interacting with customers upstairs. No gift shops. All the stairs /walls were filthy. It’s amazing what a few years does.

It is not the 9/11 memorial museum. Did not like it. Is not located in the world center area. Be aware that is the same as 9/11 memorial museum!!!!!

About 9/11 Tribute Museum

The 9/11 Tribute Museum, founded by the nonprofit September 11th Families' Association, blends the informative and the emotionally honest in conveying the events and timeline of September 11, 2001, from the perspective of those who were there – family members who lost loved ones, survivors, first responders, recovery workers and lower Manhattan residents. The Tribute Museum galleries contain videos, artifacts, pictures and interviews to create a moving portrait of the attack on September 11, 2001. Before looking ahead to lower Manhattan's plans for the future, the 9/11 Tribute Museum shares a personal remembrance of the victims, the unprecedented rescue-and-recovery operations, and the tremendous spirit of generosity and support that arose after the attack.
