What is a bio freeze massage? I have had 7 major back surgeries, the last one was 11/10/2011. These were for my currently progressive degenerative spine (spondylolithesis) and degenerative disc disease. What would be the best massage for me? I have a lot of back pain and significant tenderness of the lumbosacral spine region. Previous massage therapists just skipped this area and the massage was pretty basic. Any recommendations?

Hello Annette, Interesting question. I don't know if any one type of massage would absolutely work for your issue. I don't think anyone could promise that. What I do know is that skipping over the area will never correct the issue. I have 3 - 4 therapists that I would personally recommend to help you. Tom is my first pick. He has worked in several schools as both an instructor and administrator. He has a vast array of techniques and knowledge at his disposal. He has also suffered from back pain which makes him passionate about helping to relieve it. Stephani is my second pick. She has great hands and many years of working with clients using Myofascial Release. I believe the MFR would be a tremendous help to you. Alana would be next. She has very strong hands and an excellent massage. She is very popular for both relaxation and working out knots. I would also be a great choice for you as I have also worked with several clients with similar issues. Feel free to stop in or call us at 302-543-4004 for more information.
