Canaveral National Seashore is Florida’s largest stretch of undeveloped coastline. With 27 miles of coast and dunes and covering 57,662 acres there is plenty of room to explore and discover Florida’s natural beauty. Here you have access to both the mosquito lagoon intercoastal waterway and the Atlantic ocean. It is one of very few places along the coast where you can get panoramic views of both bodies of water at the same time.

On this guided paddle excursion you will explore the lagoon side of the park. You will explore the seashore and see areas that can only be accessed via boat. You will navigate the mazes of the mangroves as we search for wildlife including, Bald Eagles, West Indian Manatees and the Atlantic Bottle Nose Dolphin. We will cover the ecology of the areaas well as some fun history surrounding Canaveral Seashore and our National Park Service.

Once your tour concludes your day is still just starting!

With your admission to the National Seashore, you can explore the Apollo Beach Visitor Center, or take a short hike to the top of the Timucuan Native-American Shell mound with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Mosquito Lagoon. If you travel farther into the park, you will find the Eldora Historic House. Here you will gain an in-depth understanding of what living in Florida was like in the 1800s. To finish off your day head over to the beach. Here you will find 27 miles of undeveloped shoreline. No high Rises, No houses, No hotels. Just you, the sun, sand, and the gentle call of the ocean. Catch a wave or soak up the sun. You won’t find large crowds or the chaos of the city here.
