Students learn the fundamentals of tango including walking steps, turns, balance, rhythm, and leading and following techniques. Each session gets up to 50 students trotting while instructors and assistants give individual attention to the dancers.
Sessions at the downtown location start on November 7, 2012, January 16, 2013, March 27, 2013, and June 12, 2013, and run from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sessions at the Hollywood location start on November 3, 2012, January 12, 2013, March 23, 2013, and June 8, 2013, and run from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
