The Fine Print
About A Taste of the Caribbean
When Albuquerqueans breeze through the door at A Taste of the Caribbean, they feel transported to the islands with one whiff of the jerk spices and curry permeating the air. The scents waft from Taste's homestyle island dishes, dishes that are popular in the Caribbean nations represented by the flags hanging from the restaurant's ceilings. In addition to curry and jerk pork and chicken, there are spicy Virgin Islands–style ribs, empanadas, fried plantains, and oxtail served with rice and beans.
On certain nights, Taste feels even more like a Caribbean joint when it welcomes reggae-spinning DJs and live Caribbean bands.
