What You'll Get
A Christmas tree provides more than shelter for gifts—it's a convenient hanger for light strings and a shady respite from its own harsh glow. Adopt functional flora with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands at ABC Tree Farms. Click here for a list of available locations.
ABC Tree Farms stocks indoor forests with full and fragrant seasonal greenery grown by farmers in northern Oregon and southern Washington. Since 1980, the plant purveyors have equipped festive households with 100 percent biodegradable trees and helped to keep landfills free of artificial branches. While exploring one of ABC Tree Farms' 13 Californian lots, customers discover 2- to 12-foot varieties of various cone bearers ($15.99+). Standard noble-fir varieties await heavy ornaments with strong, stiff branches, while their natural noble-fir counterparts are unpruned and sport more sparse, wispy branches. Fragrant grand-fir trees reach out to shoppers with soft, dark-green needles, and douglas fir trees carry blue-green needles to accentuate living-room décor and indoor skies.
In addition to trees, ABC Tree Farms equips hall deckers with 22-inch noble-fir and cedar wreaths ($14.99), as well as cedar garland strands ($2.50/foot). Fire-retarding treatments are available at all locations, and festive snow-flocking is available at most.

About ABC Tree Farms
For more than three decades, ABC Tree Farms have provided the Bay Area with seasonal fun September through December. Summer inspires the first round of recreation in the form of Summer Fun Zones packed with inflatable bounce houses masquerading as castles and slides. During September, they run 20 pumpkin-themed locations, some of which also feature inflatable bounce houses and other attractions. Once Thanksgiving passes, groves of Christmas trees spring up, having made their way south from Oregon and Washington. There they will stand until Christmas Eve, hoping to decorate homes or become the model that inspires a revamped line of evergreen air fresheners.
