What You'll Get
In 1895, Russian dramatist Anton Chekhov wrote his masterpiece The Seagull, a comedy about the romantic and creative struggles of a group of actors and writers at a country estate. The Seagull and Other Birds is a madcap reimagining of Chekhov's famous play, produced by Pan Pan, Ireland's longest-established contemporary theater company. This production at Abrons Arts Center in New York City blends Chekhov's play with several new works commissioned by the company that transport the characters into extraordinary different contexts -- classic plays, TV shows and even YouTube videos -- with illuminating and often hilarious results.
