Then Novak will gingerly place thin needles at various points in the body, which many believe can help augment the flow of energy throughout the body and impale any kamikaze attack spiders. About Abundant Health Acupuncture
Abundant Health’s founder and national-board-certified acupuncturist Gladys Novak became aware of the therapeutic benefits of Chinese medicine over 20 years ago after witnessing the transformation of a friend afflicted with chronic back pain. With a goal of healing others holistically, Gladys pursued a bachelor of nutrition and a master of science in oriental medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Racine before opening her practice. Gladys’s ongoing education in Chinese medicine has allowed her to specialize in acupuncture, facial rejuvenation, hormonal balancing, herbal medicine, nutrition therapy, and ice-fishing on the local lakes in summer.
