What You'll Get
Like a tree house, a gym never lets non-members inside and always deflects frogs fired from the neighborhood bully’s slingshot. Hurry up the rope ladder with today's Groupon: for $59, you get the Resolutions eight-week membership package ($175 value) at ACAC Fitness and Wellness Center in Midlothian., ACAC won "best of" awards in multiple categories, including personal training and fitness club, in Richmond magazine's August 2010 issue.
The eight-week Resolutions program starts people on the path to toned cores and limber limbs with a 30-minute orientation, wherein a trainer helps set fitness goals and discusses the exercise needed to meet them. You’ll check in with this trainer weekly to ensure you’re progressing faster than the speed at which electricity flows through copper wiring. It won’t be difficult to bulk up or slim down with access to ACAC’s indoor fitness facilities. In addition to an indoor track, there are more than 75 pieces of strength equipment such as free weights, cable machines, and vases filled with sand. The cardio equipment is built for sweat-seekers, heckling the chatterboxes lingering around the water fountain with more than 80 treadmills, stationary bicycles, cross trainers, and step machines, each with its own television for tuning into commercials for reverse jetpacks. Childcare is available.
This Groupon is valid for new customers only. The Resolutions program provides access to indoor fitness facility only.
Richmond magazine recently bestowed a number of honors on ACAC: the gym was chosen Best Pilates Studio, Best Personal Training, and third-Best Fitness Club.
