Departing from the Rangeley Seaplane Base, a seaplane whisks adventurers over scenic coastal country toward the Bosebuck Mountain Camps. There, at the remote lodge on the coast of Azicohos Lake, duos or quartets enjoy a freshly prepared hearty meal that offers a choice of two entrees from daily menus, featuring prime rib on Saturday nights. Tours begin on May 18.
With thousands of flight hours under his belt, experienced pilot Keith Deschambeault of Acadian Seaplanes chauffeurs nature-bound groups over breathtaking treetops and seascapes in a single-engine plane specially designed for water landings. Maine's illustrious coastline unfolds below as the small, sturdy planes soar on specialized air tours that seek out moose, remote mountain lakes, or destination fishing for trout and salmon.

“We had a fly and dine trip booked with Acadian Seaplanes. It was alot of fun. There is no reason to be nervous. The pilot is very professional and takes very good care of his craft. From the sky there is a good chance you will see a moose. The flight was fun and the meal was delicious and it is always a good idea to tip your pilot.”

“What an incredible experience! The flight to and from the remote camps was surreal and then dinner just topped it off. We ended up at Grants Camps and had a delicious meal. If you left hungry there was something wrong as they served a 3 course meal - soup or salad, meal, and dessert. Our pilot, Keith, was great as well. He pointed out some landmarks along the way and even pointed out a moose or two that we could see from the plane, which was nice. The flight was comfortable, I wasn't at all concerned about safety, he was very professional and did an outstanding job. Awesome trip all the way around!”
