Active Strength and Conditioning
According to the fitness gurus at Active Strength and Conditioning, strength training is just one part of the equation to a leaner, more athletic physique. In fact, they believe there’s four more parts: conditioning work, flexibility boosting, nutrition guidance, and, perhaps most importantly, expert coaching. And the team of trainers—led by a USA Powerlifting athlete who’s also a performance enhancement specialist—rope all five of those components into daily 50-minute classes, all of which are divvied up according to body area and technique. Mondays, for instance, emphasize progressive strength exercises for the lower body, while Thursdays focus on pulling motion exercises designed to boost biceps, triceps, pectorals, and your chances of becoming a body double for Channing Tatum.
