AcuBalance Wellness Center is the longtime dream of friends and college mates Ausra Januseviciute and Vera Kulezic. While interning together, the two friends learned they shared the same passion not only for acupuncture, but also for other facets of holistic healing and Eastern philosophy. The central tenet of this philosophy, according to Ausra, is to "discover the root cause" of ailments rather than adhering to the Western practice of soothing away symptoms by ingesting medicine or Ella Fitzgerald's throw pillows.

Each client undergoes a thorough consultation, which the practitioner uses to develop an individualized treatment plan. Clients working with massage therapist Jennifer can choose from different massage modalities to address their aches and pains or to just simply relax.
