A pre-surgical consultation followed by a pre-operative exam explains the procedure and determines if the patient is a good candidate for Custom LASIK. During the actual laser eye surgery, which takes about 15–25 minutes, Dr. Steven Vale creates a corneal flap with a microkeratome, folds it back, and then reshapes the inner corneal tissue with a laser. The flap is then replaced, where it heals without stitches or sutures. This permanent reshaping of the cornea treats nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. This offer includes the consultation, pre-op Exam, a custom LASIK or custom PRK procedure, and the one-day, one-week, one-month, and three-month followup exam.

Though the LASIK must be performed at one of the listed locations, patients may opt to do the pre- and post-op exams at a co-managing optometrist for an additional fee.
