By inserting sterile hair-thin needles along specific points of the body, the licensed acupuncturist can produce relaxation while activating certain chemicals in the brain. As a result, the treatment can help with pain management, fertility issues, and a host of other ailments. A stretching session helps stabilize the body in order to increase muscle length and elasticity and works to relieve stress.

About Acupuncture Centers of South Florida
She spent 18 months soaking up Chinese culture in Shanghai, but Veronica Trollerud’s trip was more work than play. The licensed acupuncturist expanded her education and practiced her skills at ShuGuang Hospital, which specializes in internal medicine and women’s disorders. Upon returning home, Veronica opened Acupuncture Centers of South Florida, where she specializes in fertility issues and pain management. Every appointment at the center begins with a consultation and diagnosis; from there, Veronica prescribes the best plan of action, such as acupuncture, cupping, or quality time with a litter of puppies.
