Addison Ice House
At Addison Ice House, tables are laden with pretty much everything that's great about Texas—at least food- and drink-wise. The pub favorites include hearty half-pound burgers (try them with sautéed mushrooms or fried jalapeños and guac), dry-rubbed smoked pork ribs, and Tex-Mex enchiladas with a creamy tomatillo sauce. Washing the food down is a selection of craft beers hailing from in-state breweries such as Martin House, Rahr, and Shiner, as well as signature cocktails like the Grapefruit Ninja, made with Deep Eddy's Ruby Red Vodka, ginger beer, basil, lemon, and lime.
If sippers and diners aren't here to catch a big game or hot new infomercial on the flat-screen TVs, they might dine alfresco at the picnic tables on the rear patio. The dog-friendly space overlooks Vitruvian Park's open green space and walking trails along the Farmers Branch water.
