Q:

How often are the spinal decompression treatments? Should they be done weekly or monthly? How many treatments are needed to feel a difference?

fran  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Hello Fran, my name is Mark L. Ector, I am the General Manager. Depending on the severity of the situation 2-3 visits per week would work, or a less acute (less painful or severe) could be maintained a one visit per month. These are the two opposite ends of the spectrum. Some patients have immediate relief, others require more visits before they feel relief also. Spinal decompression isnt a wonder drug, so few patients have not found the same results or any relief at all. This is one of the reasons that we are introducing Spinal decompression at this discount to those living with back pain, to possibly offer relief. When you schedule your appointment I will make sure that you have an opporutinity to meet with me and one of the doctors in the office to discuss further treatment options that may be available to you. Our phone number is 480 814-7115. I look forward to speaking to you.

Q:

Hi. Would the decompression treatments be appropriate for ulnar nerve compression and (I assume they are related) a stiff sore neck?

Annette P.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Hello Annette P., my name is Mark L. Ector, I am the General Manager. Spinal Decompression would not be the appropriate treatment for your condition. Cervical traction is the treatment that would be best suited for ulnar nerve compression that is causing a stiff sore neck. We do provide Cervical traction at our office, and I would allow you to switch to Cervical Traction instead of Spinal Decompression. Please feel free to call the office to schedule a time to meet with me and one of our doctors. 480 814-7115

Q:

Hello, my girlfriend has a disc in her lower back that gets irritated and inflamed to the point where she can barely move. She has had cortisone shots and physical therapy but it still happens a few times per year especially after physical activity. I have been looking for some alternatives to help with this situation other than surgery. Do you think that decompression may be helpful to her or is there another service I could apply this groupon to that may be more helpful for her? I know its hard to answer without seeing the patient but a little guidance would be great. Thank you!

Brett  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

Q:

Can the spinal decompression still help even though I have had a spinal fusion L4 - S1 in 2004 with rods & screws . But the fusion is now causing my discs in the thoracic down to all of the lumbar to give me burning aching pain 24/7. I have also had a cervical fusion and both right and left shoulder replacements. But stretching seems to feel so good. Do u think I could do this??

JEANNIE T.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Hello Jeannie T., my name is Mark L. Ector, I am the General Manager. Generally "rods and screws" are indicators that spinal decompression is not the best treatment plan for you. With being said, we do still treat various patients that have similar conditions and or symptoms that we have had much success in bringing them relief. Please feel free to call the office to schedule a time to meet with one of our doctors. 480 814-7115
