Q:

Do you have people that get afraid due to the heights and how do you handle that?

Christa L.  asked on  Jan 26, 2012

A:

Hi Christa, The challenge course is an adventuresome place for sure. Sometimes people get nervous or afraid. Our instructors are well trained in helping people work through anxiety. In most cases, we can help folks work through what is going on in their head and they come through it feeling pretty darn good. In rarer instances we may have to help get them off the course. In the history of the course we've only had to do this twice in 9 years. But we practice for it weekly. We promise to take very good care of each and every climber.

Sorry Katie, There was a error in the browser when I entered this. I was answering Christa's question and somehow posted it to your question. I want to be clear about our facility for you: At this time, when compared to Whistler or Kapalua, our ziplines are like the kiddie pool. They are short and not designed as high speed long distance experiences. We hope to expand our zipline operations this year and promise to let you and everyone else know when we've accomplished that. Since this one is a Brewery package, will participants doing the zipline under the age of 18 be turned away to do the tour?

A:

The brewery tour does allow people under the age of 18 to attend, though not consume alcohol.

Q:

So, if I purchase 1 for myself, and 3 as gifts for my immediate family, can we all use them at the same time without a problem? Thought this might be a fun thing to do for hubby's bd with 2 teens. Thanks!

D  asked on  Jan 24, 2012

A:

You can use them all at the same time. The reservation system will allow customers to use up to 20 vouchers at the same time.

Q:

I bought two of these last year as a gift to my son and his wife. Between becoming first time parents and starting to build a home they were not able to use it but it was the same offer you currently have. Any chance they can still be used this year?

Judith N.  asked on  Jan 24, 2012

A:

Hello Judith! The groupon vouchers from last year count as a $50 credit towards the purchase of a new weekend playday pass in 2012 when purchased directly from Adventura. They cannot be combined with the current offer I'm sorry to say. If you use them as credits, the end price will be $50 per old voucher you turn in. When you have a moment, please call us.

Q:

How hard is the ropes course? is it more fun and less need for upper body strength, I probably cannot hold myself up on a monkey bar. Please advise what the course entails.

anne c.  asked on  Jan 23, 2012

A:

The course is designed for all capabilities. There are areas that require more upper body strength and areas that require balance and areas that let you stand there and look around and think... this is fun! But seriously, we have kids up there from 7 years old to 75 years old. There is something for everyone.
