There are only 3 weekends of guaranteed class III whitewater during July and August; reserving early is highly recommended. Rafting trips are available July 9, July 10, July 23, and July 24, 2016 and August 6 and August 7, 2016. (Trips are at 9:00 am or 9:30 am each day listed.)

As they glide through calm waters and swirl through rapids, rafters drink in the rugged scenery, occasionally glimpsing fish and ospreys. Under the watchful care of their NYSDEC-licensed rafting guides, visitors safely ride the wild current of the river, learning about the unsullied countryside of upstate New York.

The leaders were clear on their instructions of rafting safety. The river was very scenic. They were also quite humorous which made it extra fun!
