The Great Sea of Mediterranea has spawned fantastic dance moves, as well as cuisine that delights the most stoic of palates. Aesop's Tables celebrates traditional dishes from Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Morocco, with a dinner menu of succulent fare. Any food tour can begin with Aesop's dipping plate featuring Tuscan bean dip, hummus, and sun-dried tomato and feta spreads with pita pallets ($8.25), or a dozen garlic-and-wine steamed mussels ($9). At the sound of the dinner gong, professional illusionists unveil the grilled Portuguese chicken and shrimp over rice with a caramelized onion sauce ($18.50), and a rich lamb stew served over a roasted potato with cinnamon, Allspice, herbs, and green beans ($17.50).

Vegetarians can turn to the delights of the pita grill, with grilled squash, green peppers, and onions served with mozzarella and tzatziki ($9) and the Greek salad with a blend of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, feta, olives, and house-made Greek dressing ($8.75). For all appetites and in all weathers, Mediterranean cuisine is regarded as an essential gustatory experience.
