A:

Microcurrent works on the muscle to re-educate, tighten and tone them. As we grow older, our facial muscle sag causing jowls, laugh lines chin etc. In addition, some muscles tighten up because of facial expression such as around the mouth and foreheard. Many people can do away with fillers and botox because of these treatments. Hope this helps!

Q:

If you have the 10 treatments that are recommended, how much will it cost and how long does it last?

Lucille H.  asked on  Feb 25, 2013

A:

Great question Lucille. I will offe er the Groupon customers a series package of 10 treatments for $950. The cost is comparible to Botox and Fillers. You would need a monthly touch up of just one treatment. The cost of that would be the regular price of $125. The microcurrent treatment is similar to going to the gym. You need to keep up weight training to keep your muscle tone. The microcurrent facial tones and re-educates the muscles in the face much the same as going to the gym. The results are fantastic and my clients love love love it! Well worth not have to go through surgery!

Q:

The fine print states that a consultation is required. Is that included with the cost of the treatment, or is there an additional charge? On average, how many treatments are needed, and how often do you recommend having treatments?

T  asked on  Feb 24, 2013

A:

You will have a complimentary consultartion at the time of the treatment. Microcurrent is a safe, non ininvasive method to lift and tone facial muscle. Persons who have Eplilepsy, Pace Maker/Pacemaker Leads, Pregnant, Facial Metal implants, Metal IUD are not candidates for this procedure. Microcurrent mimicis the same electrical impuses that your muscles give off. The microcurrent reeducates the muscle to tone, just like when you go to the gym. Just as you can not build muscle by going to the gym once, it take mutiple treatments, For most people it is ten. Montthly treatments are then necessary to maintain your results. I offer package pricing. Muscle toning is a very real alternative to a face lift and botox. There are medical studies that back the claims. Microcurrent started in the 80's to help stroke patients and is being offered through out the country. I have done microcurrent treatments for many years and my clients love love love them!

Q:

Is this recommended for an individual that has roseasa?

Linda M.  asked on  Feb 24, 2013

A:

There is no problem to have the muscle toning treatment if you have roseasa. However, this treatment is not ment to help roseasa. This treatment tightens the muscles, chin, jowls, cheeks etc. You will see a difference with the first treatment, however, a series of treatments is suggested to have it last.
