Until recently, people in Idaho who wanted their hair braided, had to buy their own hair extensions and find a friend or family member to braid their hair. Even then, few braiders in the area have access to high-quality extensions or know how to braid hair in the style of their West African heritage. Poorly installed braids fall out quickly and damage natural hair.
