Paintball is like a production of Hamlet: it's exciting, demanding, and by the end, everyone has pretend-died. Live the adventure Shakespeare could only write about with today’s Groupon: for $20, you get all-day admission to Xtreme Paintball, including equipment rental and 200 paintballs (a $40 total value). Xtreme Paintball is located in Agawam.
Xtreme Paintball provides trigger-fingered artists with multiple fields of scenic canvas, high-quality equipment, and an experienced staff to lend distinguished and helpful feedback. Take the field of chromatic battle to transform your foes into bull’s-eyed easels awaiting the cold-hearted brushstrokes of your Tippmann 98 Custom paintball gun. Through the fog-free lenses of a full-face mask, watch your enemies’ expressions change from shock to humiliation to grudging respect as you splatter them with 200 capsules of premium Diablo paint. Sandbag bunkers and a village-like cluster of man-made structures combine with arboreal obstacles on a sniper-friendly wooded field, while a 52-piece NXL Xball field facilitates small-arms action with fewer natural impediments. Seasoned refs oversee the colorful combat to ensure all rules not made to be broken are adhered to.
Xtreme Paintball is open year-round, allowing pigment-slinging soldiers to disguise themselves seasonally as innocent arctic foxes or Good Humor ice-cream men. Netted safety areas are available to provide noncombatants with neutral territory, allowing friends and family to witness the fast-paced pellet-pelting while doing the wave and composing complicated cheers.
Participants must be at least 10 years old and must sign a waiver.
Xtreme Paintball gets solid praise from PBReview users:
- They are truly PB enthusiasts who enjoy the sport and helping others enjoy it also the safest manner possible. – alphagrunt, PBReview
- This field is good for even the youngest children because they focus on safety more than any other field around, so parents can feel safe with your kids playing here. The refs are very well trained, and understanding of the game. – K-DUB, PBReview
Xtreme Paintball's speckled war zone stretches across five playing fields, where marker-toting combatants engage in colorful crossfire during a variety of paintballing matches. A natural canopy blocks the sun from the eyes of snipers throughout the battle zone, and manmade obstacles, such as ditches and sandbag bunkers, conceal sharpshooters and bottles of Wite-Out for healing wounds. A Wild West–themed village situated at the center of Xtreme Paintball's paint-strewn landscape inspires players to reenact their favorite cowboy movies or guests can play on Nuketown, the most popular field named after the Call of Duty video game. A netted viewing area allows parents and friends to peek in on the action at a safe distance.
