Q:

Would a woman's back be considered a large area? Its not listed onywhere

Elizabeth J.  asked on  Nov 11, 2012

A:

We couldn't do a full back but we could probably do the lower back as a large area. You can call the office (508.646.6727) and discuss the details with my assistant to see what would be best for you.

Q:

hi! what kind of laser do you use?

Noreen W.  asked on  Nov 10, 2012

A:

That is a great question! We use a Light Sheer Diode laser which is an excellent device made specifically for laser hair removal. You have to be careful when you are looking at facilities that say they offer "laser hair removal." Many of these spas use what is called an IPL machine. This stands for intense pulsed light. Our machine is designed to use a specific wavelength of light that targets the hair follicle and destroys it. An IPL machine doesn't use the same wavelength and will weaken the hair follicle. This can lead to fine, light hair which will then be very difficult to remove.

Q:

would legs be considered large area? and is it per leg?

Kerry B.  asked on  Nov 10, 2012

A:

It is a little confusing on the area description section. The upper leg including knees is a large area and the lower leg is also considered a large area. They would be separate, though.
