Q:

Once I purchase this deal do I have to pay for a consultation or can I just make an appointment and have it done. I've had Botox before. Thanks

Liz S.  asked on  Nov 10, 2013

A:

You can just make an appointment to have it done. We will do an evaluation and let you know how many units are needed per area before we start but consultations are always free.

Q:

How many units would you need for the forehead and crows feet?

Liz S.  asked on  Nov 9, 2013

A:

The forehead could take from 10 to 24 units. It depends on the extent of the wrinkles. The least is usually 10. Most need 10-12. The crows feet usually goes from 12 units to 20 (for both eyes).

Q:

How much does 20 units cover?

Liz S.  asked on  Nov 9, 2013

A:

It depends on the patient. For some, 20 units would be enough for the glabella (11s) or crow's feet. Another patient may need a few more units. We tailor the number of units needed tot he particular patient. We never say a certain area requires X number of units. When you look at friends or family, some have more wrinkles covering a larger area than others. That person would need more units.

Q:

What exactly is Xeomin? Is it something like Botox? Thank you, Lynne

lynne d.  asked on  Nov 9, 2013

A:

Xeomin is a medication used to treat dynamic wrinkles and works by paralyzing the muscles that cause the wrinkles. It is essentially the same as Botox but it is made by a different company. Botox is made by Allergan and Xeomin is made by Merz Aesthetics. Merz also makes Radiesse which is a filler used for deep wrinkles and folds. Xeomin and Botox are basically interchangeable. They have the same effect and the same number of units are used per area.
