Q:

1) For both ears, do I buy 1 SMALL treatment? 2) For upper lip & chin, what do you mean by "discounted rate for you"? Is that the Groupon rate between SMALL & Medium?

Jonee C.  asked on  Feb 19, 2013

A:

Hello Jonee C Both ears are included togeather as a whole, so YES you would purchase 1 small treatment. As far as "discounted rate for you" Most clients would love to have more than 1 area done, due to Groupon rules (only 1 per client) we will upgrade (discount) extra treatment areas for you (the client). EXAMPLE: if you purchase a small area (lip) we can discount the regular price of the Chin treatments for you dramatically. :-) Hope this answers your question.

Q:

Hi! Can you explain the difference between a medium bikini and a large bikini? thanks-

N O.  asked on  Feb 19, 2013

A:

Hi, A medium bikini area is the area outside the bikini area (not to include thighs) and a large bikini area would include that plus approx 2 fingers width inside the bikini area.

Q:

I would like to get my upper lip and I have a small section on my chin what size package do I need to buy?

Karen S.  asked on  Feb 19, 2013

A:

Hello, Karen S. The upper lip is a "small area" so you will need to purchase that package. Once you come in for your initial treatment we will be able to upgrade your package to include both areas and a discounted rate for you.

Q:

Is this laser hair removal considered permanent? Also, how many sessions does it usually take on your underarms to achieve no hair?

Brittany G.  asked on  Feb 18, 2013

A:

Hello Brittany G, Laser hair removal is accomplished in a series of sessions generally done monthly. The average number of sessions to achieve over 80 percent permanent hair reduction is approximately 4 to 7 sessions. In between these monthly sessions some of the hair will regrow as hairs cycle. Hairs that may have been dormant during your previous laser hair removal session may now be in the growth phase. This is where the need for multiple treatment sessions arises. Multiple sessions ensures that all the hairs are subjected to the treatment. These hairs may be shaved by the patient between sessions if desired. Many patients find that maintenance sessions will need to be done to keep hair at bay after completing the initial treatment protocol. In a minority of patients who are good candidates hair loss may only be temporary and complete regrowth may occur.

Q:

Good morning. Does it work for red or blonde hair yet? I know I was told a couple years ago when I wanted it done that my hair was to light and the laser would not pick up on red or blonde hair.

anya b.  asked on  Feb 18, 2013

A:

Hello Anya, The laser needs to be able to pick up/see the pigmentation in the hair follicle, so unfortunately it will not work on Blond hair. Depending on the richness of the Red Hair it could be a possibility.

Q:

can I get this treatment on my eyebrows?

Anita L.  asked on  Feb 17, 2013

A:

Hello Anita, Unfortunately eyebrows is not a area offered with this Groupon Deal. Not only is it not a area but it is a EXTREMELY difficult area to treat with LHR due to the laser traveling down and outward ( ˄ ) towards your hair follicle it would be difficult to target such a straight line/arch for that area. Great Question!
