Glass artist Agnes Sanchez leads nascent glass blowers through each hands-on workshop, which yields a sculpture in your choice of color. Students should arrive dressed in protective clothing, including shirts with long sleeves, jeans past the knees, closed-toe shoes, sunglasses, and steel-lined fanny packs. Finished pieces may be picked up by students no later than two days after class.

Agnes of Glass

For more than 20 years, glass artist Agnes Sanchez has been breathing life into molten mounds, crafting delicate works of art that evoke the elements of the earth. Long-necked vases in glittering hues abut delicate ornaments at Agnes’s studio and gallery, Agnes of Glass, where the internationally trained artist exercises her technique and leads glass-blowing workshops. During the hands-on sessions, students and large-lunged wolves looking for a creative outlet exhale their way to completion of a decorative project.

This was an amazing experience. Agnes is a wonderful teacher and took time with each student to make their artwork perfect. My friend and I can't wait to do it again! Unfortunately she's booked out until February so we need to start planning now. Great problem to have.
