About Ahh, Dessert by Katherine
From an early age, Katherine, who is a personal chef, learned the importance of fresh produce and organic products. A cook and baker for the mission churches, Katherine's dad was known for a wicked sweet tooth, one he passed on to his daughter. And Katherine's mother was known for bringing spaghetti and baked goods to school on her daughters' birthdays. So when Katherine struggled to pay her bills as an undergrad student, opening Ahh, Dessert by Katherine to peddle her sweets seemed like a natural step.
Along with the expertise of chef Ceasar Palanca, who was raised by parents as food-minded as Katherine's and graduated from California Culinary Academy Cordon Bleu in San Francisco before working as a chef for tech companies and privately owned restaurants, nothing was off limits at the business's onset. Katherine brings her talents to private kitchens where she cooks meals for individuals or parties, or teaches her clients how to cook on their own.
