As practiced in ancient Chinese medicine, acupuncture rebalances the flow of energy through the body. Whether being practiced in its traditional or Western forms, acupuncture uses fine needles to target the body’s 12 meridians and redistribute energy. Patients look to these treatments for relief from pain and allergies, to stimulate weight loss, or even to cope with stress and its related symptoms.
Clients will be provided with a Physiotherapy Invoice that can be submitted to their extended health benefits for reimbursement if applicable. There are no taxes applicable for the service as the Acupuncture is provided by a Registered Physiotherapist.

Matt Sanchez, one of two clinic directors at Aim2walk, brings a degree in physiotherapy and years of experience to his patients. His partner, Jesse Lown, on the other hand, specializes in alternative medicines such as acupuncture and tui na massage, both of which he studied and practiced in China. They decided to combine their skills to help patients manage pain and overcome neurological issues with a blend of Eastern and Western medical know-how. Patients come to them with all sorts of issues, from brain and spinal cord injuries to cerebral palsy and Parkinson's; the staff approach all conditions with the simple mantra that progress is always possible. In fact, Matt says that his favourite type of patient to treat is "any client that came to us in pain and leaves without pain and with a huge smile … This happens a lot."
