Q:

Just to be sure - the cleaning of the 2 trunk lines that everybody has is not included in this deal and i would have to pay additional $90 to get the system clean and not just the round ducts - is this correct?

A:

Please give me a call and I can answer your question a little better by gathering some information from you. To answer the trunk line question though. Yes in a 1-2 year cleaning or a 4-5 year cleaning it would require trunk lines to be cleaned. Your 1st 10 vents a covered for purchas of the groupon . Our prices save you 250.00 on the first 10 to get us to the house. Any additional vents over 10 normally 17.50 a vent. Your getting them for 15.00 a vent . Last we have an optional sanitizer for 35.00 normaly 65.00 ,and dryer vent cleaning for 30.00 normally 69.00 both optional services. Your price for a 1-2 year cleaning and 4-5 year cleaning can be explained better on the phone. Best regards 734-368-5584

Q:

what is a truck line?

Carol R.  asked on  Jul 18, 2013

A:

A trunk line is a larger rectangular shaped box that connects to your furnace. You will have at least two trunk lines. A cold Air return Trunk line and a supply Trunk line. Homes that get into 3000 sqft or bigger will usually have 4 or more trunk lines. Your return trunk line takes all the dirt and air back to your furnace. That's where you will see your furnace filter get dirty. After your furnace filter the air flows through to the supply trunk line which will have all the round metal ducts connect into It in the basement. Those are your floor vents that blow air out of them upstairs.
