In 2013, Gainesville resident Jeff Parris packed up his shop and took his auto detailing experience on the road. He set up a mobile operation, taking his tools, sponges, and soaps to driveways and parking lots around the city to gussy up disheveled autos. While car owners go about their business, Jeff and his team at AJ's Mobile Detailing scrub vehicles inside and out, hand-washing and drying exteriors to avoid micro-scratches, shining tires, and vacuuming interiors. He tackles jobs of all sizes, from from local sports cars to Sweet Dreams of Gainseville's instantly recognizable ice cream fire truck.
