Alamar Restaurant & Marina

Regal sails and streamlined yachts float slowly past Alamar’s unassuming façade. Behind that façade, bartenders mimic the liquid flowing outside by pouring amber liquors and crafting sweet libations behind a gleaming wood bar. These adult concoctions complement the rich flavors that a team of chefs carefully fold into their brunch, lunch, and dinner fare—which includes fluffy omelets, meaty sandwiches, and made-from-scratch clam chowder. The restaurant’s ample windows and expansive patio afford guests picturesque views of lush foliage, gentle waves, and the attached marina in which restaurant guests and dock renters moor their personal ships. The marina’s staff members also offer maritime adventures through their boat rental services and overnight retreats in the belly of a white whale.

Customer Reviews

We went at the end of the season, so there were very few there. Even though, the waitress was very nice we felt very welcomed. It is a going place in the summer and it's fun to be on the river watching all the activity. The food is very good and the prices are too. I had the battered and fried shrimp. They batter it themselves. It was delicious. My husband had the ribeye. He ordered it med rare. When he got it, it wasn't very thick, so we were worried but it was cooked to perfection and excellent. We will definitely go back
