Albuquerque Latin Dance Festival

The Albuquerque Latin Dance Festival celebrates New Mexico’s arts culture with a three-day lineup of dance performances and workshops. The program will feature more than 40 workshops on salsa, mambo, flamenco, and bachata, led by a number of visiting dancers including Eric Freeman and María Olivera. An advanced tango-technique course will focus on dancers’ balance and posture, while beginners learn simple footwork in the salsa boot camp. Throughout the event, patrons can sample spicy foods or dance furiously until they need to visit the onsite cobbler. Guests can continue their rhythmic revelry at after-party social dances at the Hispanic Cultural Center with live performances of Cuban music by Timbalive and salsa by Café Mocha.
