The Albuquerque Latin Dance Festival celebrates New Mexico’s arts culture with a long weekend of dance performances and workshops. Each year, the program features dozens of workshops in salsa, mambo, flamenco, and bachata, led by a number of visiting dancers. Courses might include advanced technique sessions to hone dancers’ balance and posture, whereas beginners learn simple footwork in the salsa boot camp. Throughout the event, patrons can sample spicy foods or dance furiously until they need to visit the onsite cobbler. Guests can continue their rhythmic revelry at after-party social dances.
