Is the MPS treatment safe during pregnancy?

Yes. Simply stated, the MPS units use a direct current (DC) that is the same as our body runs on. Because it is a microcurrent (very low voltage) it cannot do harm to our tissues (or to the fetus). MPS has been used very successfully on many pregnant women ... from the beginning of the pregnancy, all the way to the delivery (because they can help reduce the pain and speed the delivery). As a side note, the MPS units are great for helping babies as well (because they are gentle). If you are a high risk pregnancy, then it is advisable to have your MD approve this modality - and I am happy to speak with any physician and explain how the MPS units work.
