After you purchase this Groupon, your pork will be held until it’s ready for processing (typically 90–120 days). Once ready, your hog is delivered to a processor for butchering and packaging. A $105 processing/butchering fee per half-hog is not included in this Groupon. Once packaged, your meat is shipped complimentary to your door.
Hogs generally go to the processor at between 230 and 260 pounds live weight. You will be able to communicate with the processor about how you would like your hog cut. Cuts include: bacon, chops, sausage, six types of brats, pork roast, loin, ribs, ham, ham steaks, ground pork, liverwurst, and more.

Alexander-King Farms raises pork fit for a king, or at least a lord or lady. The farm's signature product, its Berkshire pork, is a breed that dates back more than 300 years, when it emerged from the swine herd of the House of Windsor and was fed to the royal families of England. Today it remains prized the world over for its tenderness—it's said you can cut it with a fork—and its high fat content, which makes it ideal for high-temperature and long cooking. The farm raises the breed right, too, forgoing factory-farming methods in favor of free-range practices and a natural diet supplemented by apples from its own orchards.
Of course, it's not just Berkshire pork that the farmhands have been raising here since 1928. Other free-range, organic meats include Angus beef and it's lesser known cousin, BueLingo beef—another lean, grass-fed meat. While the team here doesn't process the meat in-house, they can still connect customers with almost any cut, from pork chops and sausages to rib-eyes, T-bones, and the harder-to-find Q-bones.
