Alexys is really great. He takes his art very seriously and i like that he focused on technique so much. I like the atmosphere of his studio and high quality of equipment.

What You'll Get

Learning a new skill is useful, especially if it means a promotion to a front-of-the-horse costume. Go to the head of the class with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $29 for two 30-minute vocal lessons with post-lesson improvement CDs for students aged 8–12 (up to a $150 value)
  • $39 for two 45-min vocal lessons with post-lesson improvement CDs for students aged 13 and older (up to a $225 value)

Lessons teach students the Speech Level Singing system, which demonstrates how to seamlessly transition between registers while avoiding vocal-cord strain. CD recordings of each lesson allow singers to easily practice at home between visits.

Though Alexys Paris Voice Studio sometimes features a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.

About Sing Like the Pros Studios

Before he met singing instructor David Stroud—a onetime coach of American Idol's Adam Lambert—Alexys Paris subjected his naturally mellifluous vocal cords to constant stress, admitting on his website that he would "force notes or yell on pitch." Working in the Institute of Vocal Advancement system, Stroud trains voices to perform in a natural, stable manner. Alexys teaches students how to comfortably transition from the deep-chest register to the high-pitched head register without resorting to voice-straining exertions or discretely switching places with virtuoso body doubles.
