What You'll Get
Dance can express many human emotions: grief, fear, longing, and undeserved pride in your passable imitation of a swan. Take yourself for a spin with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $14 for one interactive choreography experience (a $25 value)
- $39 for three interactive choreography experiences (a $75 value)
In The Invisible River Interactive Audience Experience, audience members join choreographer Alie Vidich and her dance troupe in rehearsal. Beforehand, cast and audience alike stretch out their muscles and warm up their voices, then move their bodies through collaborative choreography together. At the end of the rehearsal, audience members are invited to express their creative opinions during a feedback and brainstorming session, possibly reshaping the show’s choreography and being credited as a collaborator in the show’s program. The experience takes place during rehearsals, running Thursdays and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., May 23–June 14.

About Invisible River
It’s nighttime along the Schuylkill River. Philly’s skyline sparkles in the distance. You are but 1 of 400 canoeing spectators on stage for a guided history of the area. This is a performance journey in history along the Schuylkill River—just one of the many interactive theatrical events featuring song, dance, and vivid visualizations. The show comes to life thanks to the tireless work of Alie Vidich and her envelope-pushing dance company, Invisible River. Founded in 2009, The Invisible River straddles the border between dance company, acting troupe, and interactive arts collective.
