Though it's got a carving station and plenty of chicken and dumplings, the most American part of All American Buffet, however, isn't its menu, but its origin story. A tale of community, hard work, and ingenuity, the story began when a franchised buffet restaurant closed it doors. Stunned by the sudden change, and anxious that they'd only received two days' notice, buffet employees and customers alike joined forces to create their own buffet. And so, that's what they did, opening All American on the very same site of their former gathering post. Today, tray-brandishing breakfast, lunch, and dinner patrons stroll the multitude of buffet stations, each of which lays out an exhaustive selection of home-style entrees, sides, and desserts. And they do so while enjoying the warmth of a community-oriented destination.
