Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

Do you pre-treat existing stains?

Sybille S.  asked on  Jul 16, 2013

A:

Thanks for asking! Our process is that we... 1. Vacuum all the areas to be cleaned 2. Pre-treat all high traffic areas and any spots we see 3. Do the general cleaning with the carbonating process 4. Go back over anything that needs extra attention 5. Groom the carpet (that removes loose carpet fibers) 6. Wipe down all baseboards if necessary 7. And make sure everything is to your satisfaction As far as furniture we can move some smaller pieces like seating and end tables but will not more larger pieces like entertainment center or bedroom furniture.

Q:

Will it loosen carpet edging next to tile?

janice h.  asked on  Jul 17, 2013

A:

Hi, Janice. I think you are referring to the tack strip that tacks down the carpet & separates the carpet from the tile. We have not had that experience of it becoming loose with our cleaning process. If it is loose & you are concerned about it, you could have it re-tacked prior to a cleaning. If you are just concerned in general, just make the technician aware of your concern & he can use extra caution in that area. Thanks! Amanda
