Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

They have a full day camp also, can this deal apply to the full day camp or is it only for the half day camp?

Sandra B.  asked on  Mar 26, 2013

A:

This deal only applies to the half-day camp. The difference in price is only $100 ($270 vs. $170), so you can pay that directly to All-Star Sports Camp if you'd like to upgrade to the full-day option (includes lunch every day).

Q:

Once the groupon is purchased, how would I register for the class? Would I need to go directly to the Soccer Zone website or would I have to call in and speak to someone?

Naomi A.  asked on  Mar 26, 2013

A:

You will need to call the location that you purchased the voucher for and register with them on the phone (or in person).

Are the kids broken up into different camps based on their age, or are all the various aged children in camp together?

We break the kids up into three different groups for most of the activities. There are some games that we play as one large group.

Q:

The groupon indicates that the ages for the camp are 5-14, but when I looked directly at the website for the sessions at Soccer Zone in South Austin, it indicated that the ages were 6-14. Which is correct?

Anne M.  asked on  Mar 26, 2013

A:

It takes a very mature 5-year old to last all week. Some are fine, but some just aren't ready for a summer camp that keeps them active all day. At SoccerZone South Austin, we are trying to limit kids to 6-14 years old. At SZ Lakeline and ASA, we are leaving that decision up to you for 5-year olds. Even at SZ South Austin, we won't turn away a 5-year old.

More Questions and Answers

Q:

I am assuming I already know the answer to this question, but since there is only one location left can I buy the groupon for one location and use it at the other one?

Kathy B.  asked on  Mar 30, 2013

A:

No, the only way to get a discount for either SoccerZone location is to sign up for multiple weeks or register siblings. We do have some kids that come to every week of the summer. Fortunately, most kids want to come back for more than just one week.
