My only intention of purchasing this Groupon was to be able to run on the treadmillI because I was intimidated by the variety of machines and equipment in the pictures. The first day that I visited, I was given a brief tour and was then free to run on the treadmill. After my tour with the manager, who is an absolute delight, she suggested that I try one of the Revolution classes. In short, if you are intimidated by the equipment or if you feel like you aren't strong enough or in good enough shape to be at this gym, those feelings will vanish as soon as you talk to one of the trainers/coaches at this gym. The best part about this gym are the people. From those working out alongside you and the trainers leading the classes, ALL of the members of this gym create an encouraging atmosphere that makes you want to come back each day because they will help you accomplish bigger and better goals than you have for yourself. This is a small business and the coaches/trainers are not pushy when it comes to purchasing a membership or trying to get money out of you; they truly care about your health and fitness. This is one of the BEST purchases that I have EVER made. I came for the treadmill, but I am staying because of the community at this gym.

About Allegiance Fitness

Allegiance Fitness founder Justin Gray thinks of his 35,000-square-foot facility as a fitness revolution. In planning, he wanted to fuse the equipment and amenities of a big box gym with the intensity and functional exercises that CrossFit gyms offer. So he developed a set of workout classes they refer to as a Revolution: 45 minutes of high-intensity interval training with everything from tire flipping and push-ups to climbing a 14-foot high warped wall.

Those looking for a more traditional gym experience can also enroll in an open membership that grants them access to all strength-training equipment and classes. In addition to those sessions and CrossFit workouts of the day, their class list also includes cardio kickboxing and core yoga. Justin believes in his regimen's efficacy and touts it as an ideal form of training for anyone who wants to get in better shape or run obstacle courses, or expects to be sucked inside a video game shortly.
