What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Allen & Associates Accounting has a solid track record of balancing books in about half the time of our competitors. Furthermore, we have introduced ideas to our clients that have saved them thousands of dollars.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I started Allen & Associates Accounting to assist in the growth of businesses rather than break them. An accountant should provide services based on a client’s needs without forcing them to pay more than they can. Or worse, forcing them to believe having an accountant is a luxury they can’t afford.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about accounting is that it is like a type of puzzle. You can piece together how a business is operating, understanding the nuts and bolts of a business [such as] how it operates, how it makes money, and more. Accounting truly is an invaluable skill.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
“I contacted Michelle. We were looking to purchase a hotel in the Islands. The accountant sent the financials over and she found over a million dollars unaccounted for. Our representatives contacted the sellers, informing them of the discrepancy and withdrawing our offer and we were saved from a disaster.”
