A classroom session precedes trackside orientation to reinforce understanding of operation and controls. Drivers then zoom over the 1.1-kilometre course during a 15-minute lead-follow session shepherded by an experienced instructor. Then engines rev and drivers speed across the track's 11 turns for 15 minutes. Racers who are new to the Calgary Kart Racing Club receive 50% off memberships if the opt to join.
