What You'll Get
Before summer camps, kids were forced to spend the hot months reading Tolstoy and counting the number of times Nana said "scorcher." Raise the bar for summer fun with today's Groupon: for $20, you get a one-day summer camp pass (a $40 value) at Putt-Putt Fun Center—with locations in Hurst, South Arlington, and Fort Worth—or Alley Cats Entertainment Center, located in Arlington. Camps are for children five to 12 years of age. Parents must choose and reserve their child's day at least five days in advance. A T-shirt and snacks are provided, but campers should bring their own lunches.
Enroll your progeny in one of nearly 20 themed days from Putt-Putt Fun Center's summer camp calendar. Camps start at 7:30 a.m. and run until 6:00 p.m., during which time campers will dive head-first into their chosen activity, while leaving plenty of time to enjoy the other amenities that each location has to offer. Upcoming themed activities include Magic Mania (August 3), in which counselors will perform a magic show for campers, and then teach them to make their own magic to trick families and friends at home. Let's Dance day (August 18) allows kids to live out Saturday Night Fever daydreams through counselor-choreographed routines. Local firefighters will educate campers about fire safety and give them a flame-free taste of firefighting by letting them don real helmets and boots during Fireman Follies (August 20). With themed days ranging from sporty to artistic, campers of all interests can find a day that makes their month.
Besides themed activities, Putt-Putt Fun Center and Alley Cats Entertainment Center offer plenty of energy-expending games. Each Putt-Putt Fun Center features multiple mini-golf courses and a bounty of arcade games that test the limits of concentration, confidence, and non-Euclidean geometry. Pint-sized pin topplers can spend their day at Alley Cats Bowl summer camp which features bowling, rock climbing, and laser tag.
Though reviews are lacking for the summer camps, Putt-Putt Entertainment's amusement-center locations have received a few reviews. Fifteen total Insider Pages reviewers give the Fort Worth, Hurst, and Arlington locations a four-star average.

About Alley Cats Hurst
