- Wow, first time dining here and it was very delicious! Cozy environment, excellent service, and delicious food. We were told that everything was made fresh so it might take a little longer than in others places. Well, it was worth the wait! I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce with just a bit of spice. We also had the loco burritos and were very satisfied. Also, the corn tortillas were the best we have ever had. We will definitely return!
- No Tex-mex here. When you see Menudo on the menu you know it's the real thing. Had shrimp in a chipotle sauce that was wonderful. Even the picante sauce with the chips was unique. Think this is a quite undiscovered gem even though it has been here for several years.
- It seems to be family owned and the people that work there are very friendly and proud to do what they do which is awesome. I had a Mix Fajita and my wife had a Carne Asada, she said it tasted good and my plate definitely seems to have been made with such care.

Our story begins in 2004 along the side of Occoquan Road and historic Richmond Highway. It was here where Almita’s opened their doors for the first time. Since then, our looks and space have changed through the years, and we have grown to receive thousands of customers every year that become part of our business family. In everything we do, we are always dedicated to our mission: to provide the experience of eating fresh food with the house-made taste of being back in El Rancho, right here, to the people of Woodbridge.
